What is the deadline for proposing initiatives?
How can one be helped to develop an initiative?
In order to help you create and register the initiative of your group, you can call or mail on one of the community facilitators who can't wait to contact you and whom you can find HERE.
Who will decide on your proposal (and on the other proposals)?
Anyone who declares that he/she is a resident of Cluj will be able to vote for the initiatives within this participatory process. We estimate the public voting process to take place between September 15 - October 5.
What is the maximum budget an initiative can receive?
The financial allocation from the municipality for an initiative will be a maximum of 3,500 lei. The group can propose an initiative with a maximum budget of 9,000 lei.
ATTENTION: If the initiative has a budget higher than 3,500 lei, it is the responsibility of the initiative group to ensure the complementary funds over this limit.
Where can the initiatives take place?
All initiatives must take place in Cluj-Napoca. In the case of the initiatives planned to be held online, the initiatives must be addressed to the people of Cluj-Napoca.
When will you be able to implement your initiative if it receives financial support?
You will be able to implement your initiative between October 8 – November 21. You can take a look at the complete estimated calendar in the REGULATION.
Which initiatives are entering the voting stage?
All initiatives will be subject to a technical verification related to the clear and concise nature of their description and the fulfillment of some basic conditions (for the concrete conditions see the regulation). All initiatives that meet these conditions (through the initial description or through the additions received in the technical verification process) go into the public voting stage.
What is the period of the voting stage?
The vote will take place between September 15 - October 5, 2021.
Who can vote?
Any person who has a Facebook account can vote. If one does not have an account already, they can create one during the voting period.
The person is going to vote declares at registration their relationship to the city of Cluj-Napoca (I live / study / work in Cluj-Napoca).
The personal data of each user will be managed by PONT Group in accordance with the terms and conditions of data protection of PONT Group.
How to vote?
The vote can be expressed on the comoncluj.ro website (access the VOTE INITIATIVES section) by clicking on the description of an initiative and pressing the VOTE button. The platform will highlight the number of votes still available and the fact that the initiative has already been voted by the user (if applicable).
Each person is entitled to a maximum of 10 votes cast for 10 separate initiatives. An initiative cannot be voted on more than once by the same person.
Where can the number of votes for each initiative be tracked?
The votes cast can be viewed in the description of each initiative. The final list of results will be published on October 6, 2020.
